Amenities and Services

Health & Fitness

There are three clinics conveniently located within the building itself, so employees won’t even have to go far from their workplace if they need to address any health concerns! On the 19th floor of The Arcade is Parkway Shenton, a general practice medical clinic where employees can book appointments for health checkups or to consult a doctor. Parkway Shenton is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during every weekday. On the 18th floor are Parkwayhealth Primary Care Network and Executive Health Screeners. These clinics are offered by Parkway Shenton, but the two provide more specialized services. Parkwayhealth Primary Care is for managing chronic health conditions, and Executive Health Screeners carries out strategically designed health screenings to give health recommendations and lifestyle advice. In terms of physical exercise, there are no gyms located directly inside of The Arcade (though there is a massage spa on the second floor). Employees will have to walk over to the True Fitness branch in Chevron House, the Fitness First branch in Capital Tower, or Impact MMA in Shenton House if they wish to get in a workout during lunch breaks or after work.

Food & Drink

Because The Arcade occupies such a central location in the CBD, there are so many food and drink spots in the area! First, several eateries and affordable takeaway stalls are located on the lower levels of The Arcade itself. The neighboring commercial towers—like Clifford Centre, Republic Plaza, and Chevron House—also contain restaurants on the lower levels. If employees are looking for more diverse dining options in an air-conditioned environment, they could head to one of the nearby malls. The closest two malls are Marina Bay Link Mall and Far East Plaza. Malls are always a safe bet for finding chain restaurants, as well as other amenities like ATMs, fitness centers, etc. In addition, Boat Quay is a short walk away from The Arcade. Boat Quay is popular for containing lots of international cuisines: here, you can find classic British fare, authentic Mexican dishes, and even Japanese-Italian fusion food! More affordable and casual food can be found at Raffles XChange, which is located on the Basement 1 level in Raffles Place MRT station. We recommend checking out Waa Cow!, The Soup Spoon, and Polar Puffs and Cakes. Otherwise, the nearest hawker center is Lau Pa Sat. Lau Pa Sat is an incredibly popular hawker center among employees in the CBD, so grab a seat before noon if you’re keen on avoiding the lunch crowd.
